Who we are?
This is our identity.
Vita Nova Foundation is a non-profit organization, registered in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, which primarily focuses on the restoration and rehabilitation of those who are exposed to the hideous crime of sex trafficking in Europe and the Czech Republic in particular. Vita Nova Foundation treasures Christian values. ‘Vita Nova’ is Latin for ‘New Life’. Our logo illustrates this as a butterfly on open hands. This symbolizes our desire to help survivors of sexual exploitation to start a new life in dignity.
Reason for our existence.
We want to break the chains of sex trafficking in Europe in order to provide an equal chance to everyone who was exposed to sexual exploitation to be able to live a life in dignity.
This is our method.
We provide long term care to people who were trapped in sexual exploitation and help them to recover and rehabilitate. Our shelter is a community in which we approach our clients from a holistic point of view, based on Christian values. The women in our shelter receive both physical and psychological help. In addition, we provide custom-designed education as well as employment for those living on our premises.
Our target group
Whom we serve.
We focus on women (with children) who are sexually exploited in Europe with a special focus on the Czech Republic. In order to access our shelter, women must have been sexually exploited, or must be at high risk of sexual exploitation in the near future. It is extremely important that the women want to leave the sex industry themselves, and are motivated to come to our shelter. It is also not possible to provide shelter for those who are addicted to drugs.
